The Project

Client wanted to improve the existing tired driveway and increase parking on the property as there was limited on road parking.

The Process

Break up and remove the old concrete. Reduce ground level to allow the formation depth of the new driveway. Replace old clay drainage for new and adjust existing inspection chamber covers to suit new level. Once all previously mentioned was completed, form the first layer of the driveway with type 1 stone and throughly compact. Next the grit sand, compact and level to the profiles required. Lay the desired pattern of brick pavers while emphasising the border with a contrasting bold colour. Finally, secure the blocks together with kiln dried sand and compacting.
